At Neeti, Namita contributes in conceptualization and idea generation, design and ethnographic research, designing visual strategy for projects, project implementation, meeting with clients and understanding their needs and content generation and design.
She is a multidisciplinary communication designer with postgraduation in Microbiology (M.Sc.) and Communication Design (M.Des.). She also holds Postgraduate Diploma in Visual communication and Diploma in Graphic Design and 2D animation.
Her 13 years of professional experience includes working as a freelance designer and as communication design faculty at Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication, Symbiosis International University, Pune, ISBM Pune and Arena Animation, Indore and Pune.
Namita won Gold Medal for her M. Des ( Master in Design) course at DAIICT, Gandhinagar, Gujarat and ‘Best Academic Head’ award for West India, during her tenure at Arena Animation, Indore.
An avid reader, her interests lie in understanding people, their cultures and history and reusing waste materials giving them new functionality. She is an explorer and likes travelling. Namita is also passionate about classical dancing. While pursuing her education at Birmingham, UK, she developed passion for photography. Photographing common people and nature by embedding layers of meanings, is what she strives to achieve through her photographs. For her, camera although is just a small Black box, but if used creatively has potential to give meaning and language to mute subjects.
