Naranpur Express Game has been played as a physical table-top since 1990’s at Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), Gujarat. This game introduces new entrants of the institute to the structure and functioning of economy of an Indian village. To overcome the physical game limitations and to reach to the masses, Neeti was approached by the institute. The result was an interactive digitized version of the game, which simulates the livelihood challenges of Indian villages.
The game simulates economic relationships in Indian village economy, based on the four major economic subsystems: Market system, Livestock production system, Household system and Crop production system.
